I'm sure you've already heard that the best way to learn a language is to talk, talk, talk. And I'm sure you know that you have to practice to get better. And okay, yeah, make sure to do it every day.
But it can be hard to find a language exchange partner to talk to. And maybe you can only afford a couple English lessons a week.
Even if you only have a few opportunities to speak English, I want to share with you how a silent habit can help you use the time that you DO have well.
Read on to learn how SILENCE can help you maximize your English learning and help you improve your English:
A MOMENT OF SILENCE
What if I told you that you can improve your spoken English by saying nothing? You would think I am crazy, right?
First, let me tell you about a small routine that I have. To be more productive when I am working, I take lots of short breaks where I do nothing but walk. After working, writing or editing for 20 or 30 minutes, I will go outside and do a walking meditation around my garden. The act of not doing anything except walking clears my mind and helps me to be more creative when I do go back to work.
A short meditation can do the same for your English. If you sit in silence and just notice your breathing, in out, in out, in out, you will find that you will become more calm and you wil be able to concentrate better. If you are more calm and concentrating well, you will be able to speak with more confidence and you will improve your English.
Even if you only have a few opportunities a week where you can speak English, if you are prepared, calm and relaxed before talking, you will really use your time well!

EXPERIENCE MEDITATION IN ENGLISH CLASSES WITH SABRINA
If you would like to experience meditation at the beginning of your classes, you can sign up for English classes with me.
